Terms of Service
1. Services
Emergency Plumber In Portsmouth provides drainage services across Portsmouth and surrounding areas, including drain unblocking, CCTV surveys, drain jetting, and emergency callouts. When you book, tell us what's happening so the engineer who attends comes prepared for that specific job.
2. Quotations and Pricing
Every quotation is free, and the price we quote covers exactly the work specified. If a job turns out to need more than that original scope, we quote the extra work separately before starting it, so you can decide whether to go ahead.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due once the work is complete, unless we've agreed otherwise in advance. You can pay by cash, card, or bank transfer, whichever suits you best.
4. Cancellations
You can cancel a booking at any point before the engineer arrives. For a scheduled appointment, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice where possible, since this lets us offer that slot to another customer.
5. Warranty
If you're not happy with completed work, contact us within 7 days so we can look into it. Where the issue relates to work we carried out, we'll aim to return and put it right.
6. Liability
Ask the engineer to confirm their insurance position before work starts, since this can vary by job. In any case, our liability is limited to the value of the job itself, and we're not liable for pre-existing conditions or damage caused by someone else.
7. Access Requirements
You need to provide adequate access to the drainage system before work can start. If access turns out to be restricted, or conditions differ from what was described when you booked, additional charges may apply.
8. Health and Safety
Our engineers follow standard health and safety practice on every job. Please tell us about any hazards at your property before they arrive, so they can prepare properly.
9. Complaints
We take every complaint seriously and want the chance to put things right. Contact us via our online form, and we'll get back to you.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in how we work. Whatever changes we make, the latest version is always available on this page.
